PDMS is a colorless transparent polydimethylsiloxane which has good insulation, high water resistance, high speed shear resistance, high compressibility, high dispersion, low surface tension, low reactivity, low steam pressure, good thermal stability and good levelling. It can be dissolved in most solvents and it has good compatibility with most cosmetic ingredients. PDMS 5cSt is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with low viscosity, completely inert, non-reactive, safe, non-toxic, not greasy, good lubrication, good compatibility with grease, good heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance and high temperature performance.
